Entry 4: ...

I haven't posted recently for a couple of reasons, the main reason is being that i have thought of ideas, written the post and then was unable to finish it...to show how bad i'm finding it, i couldn't even think of a post name, hence the reason i have used three dots. I have recently been using the three dots quite a lot more during blogs and talking on social media sites, personally for two reasons...firstly being as it creates a dramatic pause (hence the reason i just used it) and the second i feel like it speaks more when something has been said when it frankly shouldn't, a friend of the family used a saying which can relate to it...the saying was actions speak louder than words, i will come back to this in a second, but firstly i wanted to give you a little update which relates to the post.

I have been recently also trying to explain how i have been feeling to my INFJ father, now being an ISTP...which if anybody who knows about personality types is tough for an ISTP. To make it easier i have used specific saying or phrases which my father understand to help explain these...emotions *shudders*, the phrase i used at least a month ago was the calming before a storm, the definition being "a quiet period just before a period of great activity or excitement. (Literal in reference to weather.)", and oddly enough, that storm hit...and it hurt, it left me somewhat stressed out and in the need of some well needed R&R. about a week ago things change and my phrased changed to another storm related phrase which was "The eye of the storm" (i'm not going to bother finding the definition, but i will explain it) which is the situation when a tornado has hit and you are in the direct center of the storm, the storm is not affecting you but your not out of the storm yet.

Now your wondering how do these two paragraphs connect? Well i will explain, the storm that hit, showed how i need to show that actions speak louder than words, in a nutshell, i showed with my actions that i have taken a stand and showed that i will take no more, i have walked away, this left more for a while...slightly alone and felt more of an outcast as usual, but i has taken a while for me to understand that it was for good reason, and showed that are better people to spend my life with.

And right now i am in that stage but the time is passing and the second half of the storm is approaching and i have to brace myself with the second half of this storm when it hits, but this time i'm ready...i hope.

Entry 3: Feelings

There is an old saying that goes "trust your gut". When we get nervous, a feeling like butterflies are in our stomach appear or when people are holding their significant others and feeling "warm" inside. This feeling is the gut feeling that occurs when something bad is going to happen, the stomach pain that makes you feel like there is a bottomless pit inside of you...you could call it the feeling of dread...funnily enough, i very rarely trust my gut, i'm very much a cold thinker (I am an ISTP) rather than a warm feeler for example my father (INFJ), which kinda makes me and my father a good team when bouncing situations and ideas off each-other, anyway that's another post entirely...back to this entry, recently i have had a couple of gut-feelings telling me that something isn't right or something bad is going to happen, it;s rather odd really, going back to a couple of week ago when i went out with some friends to the local shopping center, before we got there we decided to split up so that i could grab my bus pass from my house (i live about 20 mins walk from my mates house) and then meet my friends at this shopping center. I decided to listen to some music, and while i was on the bus to this shopping center, a song came on, the song was avenged seven-fold "Acid Rain" (The song that i am listening to right now) and in a long while appeared this "warm" happy feeling inside, and i felt that everything was going to be ok. And after that i have been listening to this song quite a lot. The lyrics are pasted below. unfortunately this feeling has gone...and i have to face that the hard times are coming and their are three words for you life...

BRING...IT...ON...

"Acid Rain"

Our day has come
It's drawn in the sky
So don't shed a tear now
Be thankful for the time

Life wouldn't be so precious dear if there never was an end

Children still play in the garden
Dance as the sun slips away

We stand on the edge now
We've come so far
Through all the dust it becomes clear
You will always be my heart

There's no death, no end of time when I'm facing it with you

Children still play in the garden
Dance as the sun slips away
Not even stars last forever
Cleanse us Acid rain

Stand near to me
Don't look, be brave
Over the blackened moon
I'll carry you away
Through the planets we fly

Children still play in the garden
Dance as the sun slips away
Not even stars last forever
Cleanse us Acid rain

Send us home
Send us home
Send us home
Send us home.

Entry 2- Adapting

Humans have a funny way of adapting a changing lifestyle, when eating too much and doing less, they become lazy and gain weight, when they exercise more and eat healthy, they become stronger and fitter. The reason i am talking about this is due to the fact i have had to adapt to a new lifestyle. A friend of mine kindly told me about him quitting his old job and was wondering if i wanted to apply for the job, well i had a nice chat with the lady that employed him and Boom! I got employed. Now this was a rather good thing as this meant i was earning my own income. The things i didn't expect was the new challenges that i faced. The change my body clock would face when working a 11 hour day, coming home, eating and then sleeping to wake up and do the same this over again. The balancing act of coursework and paid work. But personally speaking this has been an important life lesson...i have adapted from this and frankly. I have come out better. Oddly enough, now working it means i spend less time sitting at home relaxing, that sounds like a disadvantage but wait, when i was relaxing more, it meant i was less tired when i came to bed, which in turn meant i was staying up later and spending less time sleeping. Now i come home tired, eat and go to bed, this allows me to go to sleep quicker and wake up feeling refreshed, i have now managed to leave the house earlier and walk instead of sprint down to the bus stop that is roughly 15 minutes away from my house at a walking pace.

In conclusion, Adapting to you way of life can seem bad but sometimes has it's advantages.

P.S i wonder what i should do with my first paycheck?

Entry 1: It begins with a man.

If you are reading this, you have either stumbled upon this, or have intentionally found this. Welcome to The Introverts Guide To The Galaxy. I would like to firstly introduce myself, my name is John, i have created this blog for many a reason. My first entry is to be explaining myself, my situation, and a couple of reasons why i have created this blog altogether. So lets begin.

I have already introduced myself, so their is no need telling you my name. To give you a rough description. I am a seventeen year old introvert, living in the southeast of England that is into his second year of sixth form and is soon to be having to face the 'harmless' planet earth. The situation...well...im.....urm...stuck? Yeah, lets go with stuck. This supposed 'harmless' planet earth to some people can be scary, and i still have yet a plan on what i am going to do with this life that i have been given, throughout this....well however long i decide to keep this blog i will hopefully post situations and adventure stories during my life. If everything goes to plan, after a while this blog with have little adventures/situations as i get older (and maybe wiser) which will hopefully be useful and in return i only ask in return that you repay the favor with help for me and others, to well essentially help everybody.

More entries to come.

P.S Congrats to anybody who got the Science Fiction references on the blog and in this post :)
